I'm sure you may have found this true as well, but the other thing we learnt was how much you have to communicate across the division about the progress your small team is making rapidly. There's more bystanders in a big company watching your progress, and that tends to be a crucial part of execution. We use an internal mailing list that goes out every two weeks with fresh insights to keep the audience hooked!
